Cross-Connection
One day, a deeply depressed man (Ravi) who has been contemplating suicide for a long time, finally decides that today’s the day.
When he’s asking Siri for ways to kill himself, she suggests he call a suicide hotline instead.
Just to quench his curiosity, he agrees. Because of the strain on the digital infrastructure, web servers, the internet, and mobile networks are all acting wonky and acting up.
His call gets routed to a sex hotline instead. He doesn’t realise this.
On the other end, is our heroine, Zara — an out of work prostitute who is trying to transition to phone sex (as that’s the only business flourishing).
She doesn’t realise that the man she’s connected with is suicidal.
She thinks it’s just some sort of fetish, and plays along.
To both their surprise, this cross-connection is widely successful.
By the end of the call, Ravi doesn’t want to kill himself anymore.
And this gives the two of them an idea.
Together, remotely, they start a sex-based-suicide-hotline.
